Making 3-D models of real estate just got easier and more affordable with the Parrot Bebop-Pro 3D Modeling Drone. Architects, builders, developers, remodelers and real estate agents can make 3-dimensional models of lots, development sites and buildings quickly and accurately with the Bebop-Pro 3D Modeling Drone. The results—including virtual video property tours—can be posted quickly online, printed and emailed.

This Bebop-Pro works with Pix4Dmodel software to create clear, precise GPS-based 3D renderings. GPS ensures that dimensions and locating information are accurate and dependable. These 3D models are obtained in far less time than it would take to obtain the information from ground crews taking photos and measurements. When a project or a deal has unrelenting deadlines, that’s invaluable.

You use the drone and its software in conjunction with your smartphone/tablet and computer. Everything else you need is here.

Parrot Bebop-Pro: All-in-One Modeling Solution

It doesn’t take experience at flying drones to use the Parrot Bebop-Pro 3D Modeling Drone effectively and efficiently. Bebop-Pro is the latest example of the Parrot Bebop line, known for its ease of operation, compact size and high performance.

Bebop can fly up to 1.24 miles away if you use the included Skycontroller 2. You also can fly directly from your smartphone or tablet by using free software—all you need for a single lot, a few acres of property or a building. By synching the controller to your smartphone or tablet, or by using your devices with the program, you’ll see exactly what the drone sees as it flies over the property you wish to survey.

Familiarity with making 3D models also is unnecessary to produce professional-looking models from the Parrot Pro-3D, thanks to its Pix4D programs. Pix4Dcapture helps you establish the area that your drone will survey automatically. With the included one year of membership in Pix4Dmodel, you can send the data you gather to the Pix4D cloud, and it will produce a model for you—in a half an hour.

Bebop-Pro is tough and more resistant to damage than some bigger drones. It has fewer moving parts to wear out and break. The body shell is made of carbon fiber, renowned for its strength, and Grilamid, a plastic used widely in the automotive industry for its damage resistance. The body’s compact size and weight allow it to use short, strong landing gear that doesn’t break easily.

The compact size also makes storage and transport easy, especially in the included backpack.

Bebop-Pro’s Capable Flight

Bebop-Pro delivers performance and capabilities that some drones costing twice the price lack. Even with its model-making capabilities, Bebop-Pro Modeling costs thousands of dollars less than some competitors. It can top 37 mph, a faster speed than some more expensive—and less useful—drones can achieve. It can fly up, down and around when you command it to, and it can stop and hover. If you don’t want to fly over neighboring houses or property, you can predetermine a limited flying area for your drone. The Bebop-Pro will stay in bounds.

Much of what Bebop-Pro does, including takeoff, return home and landing, is triggered by commands that require you to press just one button.

Bebop-Pro can fly more than a mile from you, and it can stay aloft for about 25 minutes.

High-Performance Camera

The Bebop-Pro camera records high-definition video: 1080p at 30 frames per second. It shoots high-resolution stills, at 14MP. That means that when you share photos or videos in presentations, in sales talks, online or in print, images will be crystal clear. Potential customers will see the value inherent in your property, your project, and your business.

The video is stabilized digitally, so the finished product is shake-free. A program edits out movement on 3 axes, similarly to how a 3-axis gimbal would prevent camera movement physically.

Live Streaming: See What Your Drone Sees

With First Person View, you see live what your drone’s camera sees. While a video is recorded at 1080p, it transmits to your smartphone or tablet at a still-sharp 720p.

3D Modeling in Easy Steps

Surveying a property with Bebop-Pro 3D Modeling and making a model is far simpler than you would imagine. The hard work is done for you by the software and the drone. Bebop-Pro’s automated operations save time and ensure accuracy.

Tell your drone what to shoot by planning the flight on Pix4Dcapture. Bring up a satellite view and draw the route or the area that should be surveyed. If you’re shooting a house or small office building, you can direct the Bebop-Pro 3D using the Skycontroller 2. You’ll see exactly what you’re shooting because it will show on your connected smartphone or tablet.

After your data is gathered, you can access it by WiFi and wirelessly upload it to the Pix4D cloud. Once the information is in the cloud, it takes a mere half an hour for Pix4D to analyze the data.

Use your tablet or desktop to order the models, maps or videos you want, and then to post them or print them. Prospective customers or buyers can go to a website and access the models and video, using their own computers to take virtual tours or view the models. If you’re a contractor, you can access the data in the cloud and obtain the calculations you need.

Efficiency for Builders, Remodelers, Roofers

Bebop-Pro provides enormous time savings for roofers, contractors, and builders, too. Using Pix4D, it can accurately measure distances from the air, as well as the length and height of the walls. It also can quickly calculate the square footage of areas it sees.

If seeding is needed, for example, or paving a large, irregularly shaped driveway, Bebop-Pro 3D’s programming can determine just how much area is involved. On a roof with irregular shapes, such as a building with a hip roof that has trapezoidal surfaces, Bebop-Pro 3D can determine square footage for the purpose of buying materials—and eliminate the hazard of climbing to obtain the calculations.

Bebop’s calculations help to control cash flow by preventing overbuying and avoiding excessive returns, and by helping to negotiate contracts.
